I'm not sure about my age at that time but it's around 7-8 years old and this was the first time I got in trouble. I rarely got the meal money because my family would buy everything I want so it was not necessary for me to keep it.

One day, I came up with an idea that I would buy some food for my friends, but I didn't have enough brave to ask my mom. At that night, I saw her was counting the money, put it on the table and left. I took one from it (~ $25); even though, I didn't know how much is it worth at that time and acted like nothing happens. On the day after, I bought food (~ $1) and the seller gave me back a whole bunches of change. I put all of it in my backpack and totally forgot. That night, my mom prepared backpack for me and she saw everything I put in there ( busteddd). She was not mad at first, she just asked me whose money was it and why I was doing that. Then, I explained to her everything, she just smiled and forgave me if I promise her won't do that again. I was surprised about her generous, the way she taught me and felt regret also.

In conclusion, I have learned a lesson, which is don't do anything bad behind older's back because they may don't know at that time, but in the future they will. Be honest is always the best !
